Improving oneself

Time, Patience & Perseverance

Some say it is a calling, others just a realization of what we could truly become, it would be prudent to say that all of us Freemasons at a certain point in our existence reached that certain crossroad in our lives that the place where we currently stand no matter how grand still felt lacking, the perplexing call of the brotherhood and that inner voice yearning to be a part of something much bigger, the call to improve and polish ourselves through Masonry.

Our journey is an ongoing self-construction, with many minuscule as well as sizeable but all important parts

meticulously laid together with bricks and stones carefully polished with time and stacked lovingly with affection, one brick at a time, the edifice of friendship, perseverance, temperance, fortitude, and justice will in due time cement the bond with our venerable brotherhood.

As Masons, We learn watch our thoughts for they become words. We learn to choose our words, for they become actions. Understand our actions, for they become habits. Study our habits, for they will become our character. Develop our character, for it becomes our destiny.

Our journey has taught us that improving oneself is constant and you will always have your brothers to lend a  helping hand but the desire to change must begin within yourself.

Your journey begins by taking that very first step.
